O’Coqueiro
O’Coqueiro in
Portuguese means ‘The Coconut Tree’ and is located in Alto-Porvorim. Notorious
international criminal Charles Sobhraj was nabbed in this very restaurant and
O’Coqueiro became famous overnight. This restaurant has even made a statue of
the criminal at the entrance. O’Coqueiro is housed in an ancient Goan
Portuguese villa. Their restored interior
imparts a Goan flavour to the ambiance. Their signature items are the chilli
chicken, chicken cafreal, kingfish masala fry, stuffed crabs and their prawn
curry with steaming hot rice.

Flor Do Mar is an
exotic floating restaurant docked in the waters of Chapora river on the way to
Morjim. It is known to be India’s first floating lounge and restaurant. Flor Do
Mar has two open decks where you can lunch or lounge and have a glimpse of the
beautiful setting sun.
