Velsao Beach is in South Goa and north of Utorda Beach. Good thing with Velsao Beach is that it is unspoilt. The local tourist is hardly aware of this beach because of lack of frequent transport. One could get there from Verna or Margao. Buses ply from Margao main KTC bus stand. If you decide to stay either at Utorda Beach or Velsao Beach you can hire a bike or a cycle and be on your own. Velsao Beach would be just 15 min away from Utorda Beach. Cycling at Velsao Beach is just fun. You will have a lot of privacy and you will feel as though this is your own private beach. Horizon Beach Resort is just a minute walk from the beach. You can wakeup to the morning ocean fragrance. The sand is pure white. Another plus of staying either at Utorda or Velsao is that could get to Verna where there is a lake and a waterfall. So if you want some quiet time its time to pack your bags and get to Velsao.
