Verna is halfway between Panjim the capital of Goa and Margao the business hub. You can reach Verna if you are coming from Panjim or if you are coming from Margao. The landmark place to reach is the Verna Church. The lake is only 5 min away from the Church and the water fall called as Udho is very popular in the region and is another 5 min away. You may opt to spend the entire day at the waterfall and the lake. There is plenty of shade too incase you need to take some rest. From Verna Utorda beach, Velsao beach and Majorda beach are very close by and you can cover all these places in one go if time is a constraint. Oh I have forgotten to go to Majorda beach I'll take you there next.
